Melou's approaching the porch, heading back from a stroll in the grounds, when he spots his friend. "Titus?"

After a long moment, he looks up, with a small, thoughtful smile. "Good day, Melou," he says. "You'll have to excuse my slowness to greet you: I've been rather busy with this sketch."

"What are you drawing?" Melou asks. He's in a good enough mood to manage at least some polite conversation.

He turns the pad around to show it to Melou. "I am sketching a spiderweb on the railing close by: it looked so intricate that it seemed like a worthy challenge."

He's gotten the threads of the web down pat, but the water drops left over from the morning dew look a bit tacked-on. He's still getting the hang of drawing water (which, typist can attest, is a devil to try and draw).
