Yaaay! So good to know we have another treat to look forward to!
Okay, I'm about to confess something to you, which is completely trufax. I've just been through spinal surgery, and I think I've listened through the 10 chapters of Foundations at least twice over. I didn't have Reparations on my phone and couldn't get up and get to my laptop to transfer them (yes, it was that bad). I think your Foundations podfics might have been the only thing keeping me sane through the three week pre-op pain and uncertainty. So you should totally give yourself a pat on the back for getting me through that time! <3
I can't believe that I'm so late in replying to your comment. (insert abject apologies and groveling).
Despite my appalling tardiness, though, I was truly pleased to get your comment!
I have not been through anything like spinal surgery, but I remember one terrible weekend with corneal abrasions, eyes bandaged shut, and popping codeine like it was going out of style. I think I would have gone mad if my friend had not lent me his audio recording of The Lord of the Rings (which was how I first learned about the wonderful world of audio fiction!).
I'm so glad that I could help make your own experience a bit more tolerable - thank you so much for commenting!
I have to stop and say thank you again. Did you know that you accompany me in all my car rides....picking up the kids from school, driving to university, going shopping and even walking the dog. I have your podfic in my Ipod and you are a very good company to have. I like your voice and I am sure I could recognize it anywhere. thanks again for this wonderful job and the time you are putting into it.
I'm extremely pleased to keep you company! I'm sure we go all kinds of interesting places!
Thank you for commenting - I really do get warm fuzzy feelings from the wonderful feedback!
And the home renos went very well, actually - I completed everything I planned to do, and got Chapter 12 recorded, too! (It's off being beta'd, so it'll be up soon!)
WOOO!! I wish I could listen to this and make notes from reading at the same time :( I'll have to make listening to it a reward for when I finish my essays :) Thank you! Hope you enjoy your time off work :D
Thank you! I did enjoy my time off work (this reply is so late, that my vacation is now over!).
I totally agree about the listening and reading at the same time thing. If I could just listen to podfics while I read the boring crap I have to read for work, I would be so much happier!
I hope your essays went well, and that you enjoyed Chapter 11!
