I know! We're still suffering from whiplash from the speed of the change. The tough part is remembering that the dementia is still there. In so many ways he seems totally fine; now we need to remember to make allowances for some smaller and less obvious changes.
I'm certainly glad that we didn't get in a big rush about looking for a smaller place for mom, putting their house on the market and all that!
And thank you for your good wishes through all of this; they really do make a difference!
I hate coming here when you have such difficult new to contend with. I did want to tell you that I just listened to Reparation by Sara's Girl and read by you and you knocked my socks off. Amazing work, especially considering the size of the story.
Anyway, hope things are looking more positive for you and forgive my intrusion.
Any time is a good time for such a lovely comment! I'm so glad that you liked the podfic. I have a huge amount of fun recording them, and it's wonderful to know that other people get pleasure out of them, too!
