Well, my family came and visited me this weekend, which was sweet. We saw the Alamo. Strangely, I had not visited there until now. Come to think of it, I haven't really done any touristy things here yet

So this real company....do they allow you to have a life of sorts? it seems you won't be able to have anything resembling a normal life until you're done with training, so I'm eager for that to happen. April 13 is quite soon. Spend more time on the internet, so we can stay in touch better, or is that still limited by Army gayness? Bleh, anyway keep the faith man, etc.
Well, I get to have a life according to the phasing privileges that TRADOC sets for IET soldiers. They're pretty universal across the army. There are 6 phases: 1-5 and 5+. I don't know if the navy is the same. However, what the "real" company means is that I get to have a graduation date. The other unit I was with was only temporary and designed to get some of my training done while I waited for a slot to upon up.
I'm trying. Last time I checked. The number one guy has a 94.5%, and I have a 94.3% average. But, in my defense, I just shipped to this company. I had to deal with a lot of other distractions(frequent moving of quarters, details that Team Warrior was put on b/c we're not a real company, etc.) that the number one guy has not. He as been with E Co. the whole time. So, yea, I'm trying. We have 2 more written exams. Wish me luck!
