The days are wonderful and filled with loving family and friends and small things that make me incredibly happy that I can breathe. But the nights....oh how I hate the night

Well, remember that you have friends all over...which means we are all over different time zones! Jump on AIM and see if anyone is up and we will be more than welcome to talk and help you get through the night if you are up to it. I hope you have more happy days and the nights start to get better...I'm still thinking about you every day and hope your recovery gets better and better!
I'm sorry to hear about the night time strugles but like Lisa said you have friends all over and I'm generally up almost all night like you for pretty much the same reason plus I'm scared I wont wake up, so I dunno what the time difference for us is but I'm always up late night unless my head is killing me and I'd love to talk to you again I think you are a truly amazing person..anyways my AIM is calicupcake4488 if you ever want to talk, fyi though I tend to be invisible so you might just have to attempt to IM me to see if I'm really around or not
I don't know if this is any comfort right now while you're having to deal with it, but you probably know it's the prednisone that's making you shake and be awake, and all that will get better and better as they taper you down to your final dose. Hang in there!
Also, I found I was able to sleep better if I slept kind of propped up. Lying flat on my back hurt like hell and lying on my side was flat out impossible (I tried it once and hurt myself so bad!) But now I sleep lying down however I want. So it does get better!
I also found that once I started going to infusioins + clinics + physical therapy that I had no trouble falling asleep in at least a nap during the day. It was completely exhausting.
Loves girl... I know it can't be easy, but like the others, I'm here for you if you need me... I haven't been sleeping at night lately, so I'm usually up as the darkness ticks by.
