Everything sounds awesome, I hope all the support/sponsors will come asap!
On a stronger note, I look forward to hearing more about fundraising for the CCFF in Vancouver. I live in Toronto at the moment and am moving out to Vancouver as of January and would love to be able to continue volunteering and helping fundraise & raise awareness. :)
first off i just want to say that is an awesome pic of you!
i live in the U.S. and work with a lot of pediatric CF patients. your story is so inspiring. it's amazing what you guys have to go through. i have been wanting to see your documentary for the longest and would love to buy it, so i'll most def be adding my name to that list.
also, on a random note: i have no idea what type of music you are into, but have you ever heard of a band called jack's mannequin? he has a song called "caves" that has very inspirational lyrics. although the song is about his battle with cancer, i thought you might find it relatable. it's a very positive and uplifting song.
anyway, i hope to read another post from you soon! much love, -kt
This made me so happy! You sound busy busy busy~ I especially love the lipstick idea!
Also, the PBS thing... It might be good to spread the video around to companies through email/mail. Get a couple copies of the documentary and ask for some support. It might be good to get into contact with some CF organizations too. They'd probably have better connections.
actually, i'll send the link to the video to whatever online CF organizations I can find... i think if we could get others to do the same, they'd definitely look into it.
yeah i think i might have a contact at the CFF.. just from an email they once sent me about a youtube video i put up.. i don't have any copies of the film but Nimisha is getting back from India next month and then we'll get back on it full time.
maybe try doe deere (doedeereblogazine.com)? she makes her own lipsticks, including some crazy colors, and seems like a really sweet girl. i could see this as a mutually beneficial relationship: you get publicity for CF research and awareness, and she gets publicity for helping with that... i suppose it's worth a try if you're willing to go into it with someone who is not THAT well known (as well-known as, like, maybelline or MAC or whatever).
wow! i just checked it out! amazing colours! and rad fashion too. i will pass this on to carol-ann... i think she is looking into major companies at the moment..thanks for the help!
