There are basically two channels here that could be interested, SBS and ABC (they show stories like yours constantly) so I figured it might be a good idea to let them know what you guys have done and see if they'd be interested. As for film festivals in Australia, I have no idea, but I could find out for you if you want?
Oh, I could also contact the Finnish public broadcaster YLE and the Swedish SVT... probably... I could try...
