wow, great update...I have to say this is one of the storylines I am very interested in seeing where they take it on the show, though I don't know you need to wait to see what they do to continue this story (the joy of fanfic, right?)

*sighs happily* I *have* mentioned I love what you've done with this fic in general, yes? Working backward, the intervention is very good; a difficult kind of scene to write, and it comes off quite realistic. You've got an excellent handle on Cooper, and of course Ben. The others seem believable as well, but I'm not the best judge; haven't approached this show analytically. I do love how all the coworkers gradually came together. Laurie, both on the show and as you've written her [yay! for stopping the enabling] tugs at my heartstrings. And I love the 'deal' Jorge got so he could add his damning truth. Yes, Cooper's final line and it's delivery is soooo on target ( ... )

Hee - thanks babe. I have so totally blocked *that* Coop out of my mind, that I didn't even make the connection at first.

Have to wait until after tomorrow - or even after the first 3 eps, as I sort of heard *ahem* there could be some kind of developements.

This is terrific, I enjoyed it very much! 25.5 hours til ya'll get to see the season premiere! I saw it already, but can't wait for the discussions to start.

Totally awesome fic - Unlike the O.C. which all you fan ficcers should have been writing aftehr the 6th episode - I think they are going to really address this "issue" of John's ! In fact I would not be surprised to see this exact scene in episode 8,9 or 10 ~~ Really and I will give you all the credit ~~ This has such great characterizations - hopefully your muses will keep you interested in continuing. Thanks melster. I believe you are correct. From all the recent interviews I've caught, it seems as if it will go somewhat in this direction. At least I got it in print before they've even gotten that far in film!
