I already told you I love this, and here's the thing: Basically, you write the way I wish I could write. The simplicity and apparent ease with which you convey complex, serious emotions and situations is both enviable and awe inspiring. I felt that way about your Chivu fic, many issues back, and I feel the same now, about this one -- everything is so clean and deceptively smooth on the surface, and so fabulously mixed up and aching underneath. It's wonderful, all of it. Thanks for continuing to share your work with us, even those of us with an attention span so short it takes days to get through even the shortish pieces. *is v ashamed*
Also, the progression, from open to close, is perfect. ♥
[The screwy bit I mentioned starts Paolo was dissatisfied with this development. It's actually less mixed up than I thought, there's just a "their" for "there", and perhaps a misleading antecedent -- I can't tell if you mean Pocho's or Paolo's position was precarious, because the "he" afterward is Paolo, right?]
(Lol, I love how comments on this fic always end up in my spam folder cos of all the impotence stuff. XD)
*Beams a huge amount* This gives me great confidence in my writing abilities! Thank you, Martha! I think fics made of lots of short pieces might be pretty handy; they're easy to write (as long as you can fit the disjointed bits together) and they're easy to read, cos busy people can take one section at a time. *Makes note*
[Ahhh, I see what you mean. It really is "their Pocho", as in "She's trying to take our Pocho away from us!" Does that make it more clear that the person doing the thinking is PCan?]
(I didn't mention impotence once! Does gmail know what's in the fic? That's both unsurprising and quite frightening.)
♥ I am very happy to be of service.
[*goes and reads again, several times* Ahhh, got it now -- thank you.]
OT: I've got a picture of Sandro Mazzola that's frightening similar to that PCan one, both in terms of endowment and revealing-ness, only more so -- I can't even look at it, let alone share it with others. It's TERRIFYING. (If such a thing ever surfaces of Facchetti, I'm sure I'll be able to go on.)
(You know how when you get a comment notification, it always quotes the whole post! Or maybe it was the drugs that set the spam filter off. Hmmmm.)
And everybody's happy now! \o/ Btw, have a fic that I seenk you will like. I'll put it at Calcioriffic.
Is he the one with the square head and the scary moustache? Yikes. I wonder if captains generally find it useful to have something to intimidate their players with? "Oh, yeah? Well, I've got the biggest cock!" Lol I'm picturing Facchetti in the Superman stance and beaming. It's a bit alarming, I admit.
