This week, after the weekend the village had last week, has been a ball-buster. There's not a whole lot in the way of property damage, but people are coming in and making more statements, spooked by everything. And Erica can't blame them. Honestly, she's surprised more people aren't on edge more often for all the shit that goes on in this place

He's wearing a white button down and khaki's, a little waitery, but neat. He's nearly...perky at the prospect of getting to let his hair down -- so to speak.

"I'm not really hungry yet? Are you? What do you say we go someplace we haven't been before?"

"Not hungry yet," she agrees, looking over different signs to figure out where they can go.

"You're the village veteran, so I'm going to let you pick," Erica says cheerfully.

"Okay, fine." He drops her hand, closes his eyes, and spins around. He stops, opens his eyes, and says,

"That way and we'll go into the first place we come to."

Erica can't help but laugh, and she takes his hand again. "Okay, sounds like a plan. Very scientific of you."
