"It's simply peachy!" Death says, without a trace of sarcasm in her voice.

Methos smiles lightly as he tosses his coat to one side, where it will hopefully be out of the way.

"Are you ready?" He asks as he hefts his broadsword.

She nods, laughing, and picks up her sword. "This'll be fun!"

Methos smiles just a bit, which is a rare sight, because he doesn't normally smile when swords are present.

He advanced toward Death, sword at the ready, keeping his eyes on her, trying to predict when she will attack.

He waits for, watching for her attack.

"You're pretty good," she says, still not attacking.

[5myrsofregrets]

"I have had a lot of practice" Methos replies with a slight grin.

She laughs, and attacks.

[5myrsofregrets]

"I need to be alive to enjoy it though and even winning the fight isn't very pleasant against my kind" Methos refers to the Quickening which occurs to when an immortal takes another immortal's head and the power of the defeated goes into the other.

"I imagine." She does a quick feint right, and attacks left.

Methos' block to the left is late, death manages the first injury. Luckily the injury is just to Methos' sweater, though Methos will complain about having to get a new one later.

She laughs. "Another bout?"

[5myrsofregrets]

"I know, I do keep track of modern technology." Methos says as he walks over to take one of the vests and put it on.

((*Grumble* you and you're e-carriage always throwing me off.))

"Great!" She suits up herself, and salutes. "Start again?"

((Sorry, but the e-carriage stops it from stretching the page sideways, and side scrolling annoys me))

Methos finishes putting on the vest and making sure the sensors are placed on his sword. He gives it a few experimental swings to make sure they stay on.

"Why else would I put this on?" He replies with a grin as he salutes and drops into his ready position.

((Heh, pay me no mind. I just do everything by email so it throws me off a bit.))

"Fair enough!" She gets into en guard. "Ready?"

"I have had more practice than most" Methos replies with a slight shrug.

"That you have. First to three hits, are we doing?"

((Apologies, I got busy doing work and will probably be doing work again tonight))

"I don't see why not" He says as he lifts his sword. "I believe we're tied up then"

She lifts hers too, winks, and lunges.
