my week in review

Saturday, June 12
I participated in a sacred fire ceremony today. We sat in a farmer's field, and the Divine Mother (Amma Sri Karunamayi) led us in 4-hours of ritual chanting and blessings and prayers. I'd never participated in a Hindu ceremony before.

After the ceremony we were fed a fabulous lunch of traditional Indian fare. Tasty.
