That's such a shame, but still - very cute pictures. Do they make noises that young?

And yes, I scooped it out of the pile of dead kittens and placentas to do what I could for the poor thing.

Where do you keep finding these sights?

This kitten was mewing from the first day and had even started doing a faint purr after eating. I know it wasn't the most attractive of kitties, but I thought it was a cutie.

Where do you keep finding these sights? Firstly, I'd like to make it known I was wearing rubber gloves when I made the retrieval. :/ Such sights are unfortunately seen when working with the local SCPA and Humane Society, but I did this one on my own after a friend found them.

Ohhh, I didn't know it was your job. I was wondering 'does she just walk down the streets and there's all these abandoned litters?!'

That's pretty cool that they can mew and purr so young.

I have a long history of volunteering for animal organizations, so the experience/natural instinct for helping animals comes in handy sometimes.

OT, did you see Family Guy tonight? *g*

I'm sorry about the kitten, Sherry. I guess I've never seen newborn kittens before - they're not very attractive, are they?? Poor little thing.

Thank you, Anne. I promise, newborn kittens are most times really adorable. This one - not so much. It was just born too early, I think. I had never saw one this small before.

You know, I was thinking the same thing as DAve, 'where does she find all this abandoned kittens?', so thanks for the explanation.

I'd love to show my daughter those pics, as she's a kitten/puppy lover, but I'm araid the impending fate of said kitty would do her in. It's good that you tried, though. Thanks for the pics!

Oh, and I'll write you tommorrow aobut your comment to my post about teh teen son's clothes.

*hugs*
