In the words of the Joker, hi.

I apologise for being the mod in absentia but grad school ate (and is still) eating me up. Either way, I intend to revamp and reboot this community in time for 2009 - that's how slow I am but please bear with me.

The most important question for you to ponder for the moment is:

Poll Should there be slash/BL/yaoi/same-gender fiction in 52_flavours?As explained in the FAQ, the ( Read more... )

Don't thank me, I didn't do anything ;_; If something had come up I would like to think that I would have taken care of it, but since you've got this place pretty much self-sufficient, I was just a name on the profile.

*hums the lumberjack song*

But I'm totally stoked over this poll, I didn't join this community until you were asking for moderators because of that rule, and the idea that it could change makes me happy inside ♥ ♥ ♥ That, and all the pairings I'm writing for right now are slash, so I could actually post here more, possibly maybe.

I joined this community but haven't posted anything, simply because you had the gen/het only rule enforced. There should be same-gender fiction on this community, whether it be m/m or f/f.

...and those are my thoughts on yaoi.

I understand your frustration. There are issues I had with the creator of this community as we co-managed it earlier but suffice to say, now that I am managing the community on my own, changes will be made. I appreciate your candour. Thank you.

:) I'm happy to hear that there will be changes. I really love the prompts, and hope to see more members responding to them. *hug* I certainly appreciate you taking the time to revamp this place in many areas, and I know that no matter what changes, I'll stay~ ^_^

I know people who hesitated about joining because of that rule. Were I considering the question today, I most likely wouldn't, as I would consider it discrimination.

Also, I know how grad school can be. Hope things get better for ya.

*nod* I had resevations on the rule but kept it as a sign of respect to the original creator but I think the time has come to change the face of this community. It's been stagnant too long, though I take full responsibility for that.

I'm so glad this community's alive again. Whenever inspiration's failing me, I look at the prompts. ♥

And I vote three.

Thank you for your honesty ^^

I'm grateful that there's people still interested in the community. As mentioned above, it's totally my fault it languished this long but I'm going to try harder now.

When I first joined the community, I was really surprised about the rule. I don't really mind, because if I don't like it I won't read it. But it's a great set of themes, so I say why not share the love with everyone?
