received my miami class registration. and mailed my "rejecting my acceptance" postcard to cornell. college is really happening.

what a weekend. i suppose it began on thursday, with brit's 'intromige' and such. that went amazingly well, and she has a prom date. hurrah! i also have one. and it's the ideal one. so that's dandy. i think prom will be a ton of fun--i guess...it's like, one of the last hurrah's of high school...so even though it's erm...well, different this year ( Read more... )

how truly spectacular. today was fabulous. brit carr and i spent a few hours on park ave just poking around in all the shops and checking out all the pet art. and eating panera at some random rollins tables. and having ice cream in the park. and it was very chill. zen. incredibly enjoyable. i really like that....just spending time with friends ( Read more... )

i just finished a book and it made me physically sick. i fainted and i feel really disgusted. it was called 'a fine balance' and it's set in 1970s india, during the 'emergency'--a time of political corruptness. the ending was horrific. i honestly....cannot comprehend it. it's books, stories like these that make me feel both disgusted with the ( Read more... )
