I honestly didn't expect this storyline to find an ending this soon, not enough drama and tension! But Kosugi's handsome face on page 19 makes up for it haha ♥ and d'aaawwww, he apologized!
Sooo, what's going to happen to Nanamine, now that he won't be in Weekly Shounen Jump anymore? Nanamine should definitely start his own seinen magazine with Kosugi as the number 1 adviser/chief editor!!
See, this is exactly why you should listen to Kosugi more. Nanamine, haven't you noticed that so far he's been right about needing to change things for your manuscripts?
I mentioned on the main comm my feelings for the chapter, though I do wanna say again that I do hope Nanamine comes back, he's an interesting recurring "villain" for Bakuman to have. (Especially with the whole "Azuma is retiring which would technically put Nanamine as 3rd by default" idea I had) Plus, at least if that does happen, Kosugi would have to remind him of that promise he made about working together with him since his oneshot didn't take the number one spot...
Definitely concur (and I love that idea of yours)! I'll be devastated if we don't see much more about Nanamine and Kosugi in the future. There are still some lessons to be learned, e.g. Nanamine's lack of heart, and it would be a shame to conclude this without any real character development on Nanamine's part. His personality and mindset haven't underwent any major changes ever since he first appeared and Kosugi deserves a cooperative mangaka in order to shine as an editor ;_;
