Success! A friend of my mate's did SOMETHING to the stupid icon that made it work. Evidently all he thinks he did is change it to 98x98 pixels, nevermind that I changed it to 95x95 and THAT didn't work before, but at any rate, NOW it works, and this is a good thing.

Thank you. I had the idea brewing for a week or two, but I hadn't got round to making it because I'm not very good at animated GIFs, as has been proven yet again. Every time I look at it, I think "wow, that looks so good it looks like someone ELSE made it." ...

That doesn't sound like a good thing, but it was supposed to...

You know, it took me FOREVER to pick a font for each character? And I'm still not entirely happy with the one I picked for the Doctor. And I think someone else has used the Cybermen one for something Doctor Who before... But it's okay, because I'm still quite, quite pleased with it.
