5. Marjane Satrapi, Embroideries

This features several of the female characters from Satrapi's Persepolis, gathered together over tea in a Tehran apartment and taking advantage of their menfolk's afternoon nap to talk freely about their sexuality. It's beautiful and touching and very much in line with other things I have read about Iranian women's culture, and I highly recommend

Is it a sequel to Persepolis?

Not as such. It's set amongst her family, so some of the same characters appear, and since she's an adult, it's presumably set after the events of Persepolis. It doesn't continue that storyline, though - it's complete in itself.
