I apologize for my absence...a combo of real life stuff pulled me away from the community for the tail-end of our LJ Spotlight, and I've been neglecting a bunch of emails that I got regarding tags ( Read more... )

I would like to request that you add Sherrilyn Kenyon and JR Ward as tags

Sherrilyn Kenyon because her Dark-Hunter series is actually a New York Times bestselling series and has a literal cult like following. She also has a new and highly anticipated addition to her series called "The Dream-Hunter" scheduled to hit the shelves tomorrow (February 6th).

JR Ward because I believe she also is on the NY Times best sellers list, and her books just totally rock my socks off. She has a new book scheduled to come out March 7th.

Also, do graphic novels count?

Governor General's Awards edith_jones February 9 2007, 04:21:22 UTC
It would be great if there were a tag for Governor General's Literary Awards. We Canadians, your north-of-the-border, would-be-part-of-the-U.S.-if-Bush-could-m anage-it friends, have an annual book award, our equivalent of the Pulitzer, called the GG for short. It's been won by such literary luminaries as (excuse me while I Google) Marshall McLuhan, Margaret Atwood, Leonard Cohen, Stephen Leacock, Michael Ondaatje, Mordecai Richler, Guy Vanderhaege, Rohinton Mistry, Northrop Frye, and Carol Shields, to name a few. We Canadians would sure like a tag to represent the best in Canadian fiction.
Sincerely,
Edith.

Could we please have a tag for 'cats' or 'animals'? Also, as she seems so popular, how about one for Elizabeth Kostova?
And Art/Art History?
