Oh, no, no, no, that is one of the most wonderful books ever! I guess nobody reads the same book....I found 'Angle of Repose' so satisfying, and I've read it at least a dozen times. Sorry that you didn't like it, it took my breath away the first time I read it, and twenty years later it's still doing so.
