There's a genre I didn't know existed!

It was Simon Pegg (Shaun of the Dead) who coined the phrase RomZomCom (Romantic Zombie Comedy) but ZomRomCom is also used for this 'emerging' sub genre.

I think this may be thie first in which the zombie is the romantic lead though. (I may be wrong I don't read that much zombie fic)
