Last night, I finished reading The Geometry of Pasta by Hildebrand & Kenedy. I was intrigued by the title, and the subject of the book. The book discusses a large number of pasta variants, how they came to be, what they symbolize, and what toppings they are intended for. The book is filled with recipes for pasta and for sauces, and I found it

That sounds like a very worthwhile book! Would you recommend it?

If you like pasta, and have been curious about the different forms, then I'd say yes. Mind you, it's not filled with photographs, but graphic representations of the different pastas, but those graphics are pretty effective at leaving you the essence of the individual pasta forms.

The graphic representations would be fine. I've been really interested in what should go with each type, so the book sounds right up my alley.

Thank you for answering!
