34. Kiss of Death (Morganville Vampires, Book 8) - Caine, Rachel
I don't know if it's just because I took a break and read other books in between (and because the House of Night books weren't nearly as good as this series) or just because it's set outside Morganville so it was a nice change of pace for this series, but I liked Kiss of Death even better than the the previous few in the series. I might like it as well as I did the first in the series, actually. It had less relationship drama and more plot than recent ones, which was nice. I'm definitely looking forward to the next one and will not just be reading it out of habit or for completeness.
I started Dead in the Family (Sookie Stackhouse/Southern Vampire Series #10) by Charlaine Harris but was completely lost, so I'm going back to reread Dead and Gone first.
I'm annoyed that the new Morganville and Sookie books aren't available for Kindle, so I had to get them through the Nook app for iPod. Grrrr.
