I love that Ross is in it too. He and Tim Latimer are the embodiment of it in who.

My original idea was to portraitise Ross only with layers of poppies. but my art skills weren't up to it.

Instead i went for him Mace and the Brig because thats all 3 sections of the service. Ross as the young Private destined to go early, Mace the career soldier whose been lucky or good enough not to be killed yet and the Brig as the retired soldier weighed down with the knowledge of all the comrades he'd lost

Mmhm. Plus that would be mega hard to do especially in the way they do on the poppy ads on telly.

*Blushes* thank you. even if they are fictional the UNIT casualty rate is almost as bad as that in Northern Ireland duringthe 70s.

it helps that Mace always looked a little upset.
