OH MAJESTIC LEVELS OF GLEE!

I want to write meta about it, that is how much I love this. (Are you familiar with the book(s) at all? Because the whole 'Pan' thing with Who has always fascinated me, and I'm intrigued by Jamie being Pan and Two bein Hook!)

It is beautiful, also! Love sulky Jamie and raffish Two. :)

Heee, yay for love!

I am very familiar with the books. In fact, I've read the novel many times (and "The Little White Bird") and did a final presentation on the book for a university final a year before the new live-action movie came out, hahaha. XD

But I do think that the Who/Pan theme is really interesting, and yeah . . . Jamie as Pan was mostly because Peter is my favorite and Jamie is my favorite, and when he flies, he's in a kilt! And, yes. And Troughton just pulls of Hook so well. But meta away, oh I'd love to read that. :D

Glad you like it. :D:D:D It was a lot of fun to do, and to make them look like the characters without directly ripping off any one costume source.

I love Peter Pan in an insane way, so yay. I really wish I'd got the chance to study it at college, because I could've written the most batshit essays on that stuff. Am jealous of you getting to do so. :)

Troughton would've made an awesome Hook. Just struck me as interesting, given that 1) the Doctor is so often configured as Pan in fic and meta, with the whole 'never growing up' thing -which seems to suit Two in particular so well and 2) that Hook and Mr Darling are so clearly paralleled in the book, which fits with Two's talk to Victoria in TOTC so gloriously. And then the concept of John Smith, and how he is basically Mr Darling. But now I am all thinky re the idea of Jamie being the boy who never grows up because he is out of his timeline...

Not making any sense at all, sorry. But hurrah!

Yes, yes. I realize that it is the Doctor that is more Pan-like, with the never growing up, but Troughton just does such a lovely Hook, and you are right with the Hook/Mr Darling thing, although that's much more of a stage/film thing than book thing, I suppose. But it does work, and Victoria makes a marvelous Wendy because she's Victorian and it sort of fits, hahaha ( ... )

love the kilt.
Jamie looks a bit elfish
Victoria reminds me of Dr Quinn medicine woman
Patrick looks great; do you think the hook could have been a sonic screwdriver adaptation?
Cheers
