Pepper is no longer with us anymore :(

We took her back to the vet today. She hadn't eaten for nearly 5 days, she had even vomitted even though she had the anti-nausea injection, and there was a bit of blood in it.. She just wasn't moving much, she'd just lay there. Her breathing had rasps in it.... It just wasn't fair to keep her in that pain. The

This makes me very sad. :(

My dog was put to sleep just a few months ago. I wasn't able to be with her until the end, though, because my mom took her to the vet while I was at school. I wasn't really close with her, and she was very old, but it still saddened me that this creature that had been in my life for as long as I could remember, was suddenly gone. Just like that.

It's good that you were strong enough to be with her until the last. I probably wouldn't have done it, even if I'd been given the chance.

I'm so sorry :( We had to put my dog down about a year ago. We had her for basically my whole life, it was sad. i sort of knew it was coming, but it was wierd when i came home from school that day and she wasn't there :(. It's nice that u got to be with Pepper till the end :) I'm sure she knew that you love her!

Ralphy, I am so, so, so sorry for you and for your Mum and Chloe, and also Pepper. I am sitting here with tears rolling down my cheeks... It's so hard to lose an animal because they're such an integral part of our families. I cant imagine anything ever happening to Billie and I can't even bear to think of how I'd feel .. but I've lost Bull and my gorgeous big Rottweiler Pumpkin, and also Thomas Anderson last yr if you remember :( I am thinking of you.
