Beside her, on a pillow, is a Chansey egg, a present from Clive. It is closely watched by the Growlithe Clover had agreed to take off Kisa's hands.

I don't know that it would be counted as "good," but I did receive something that was very useful to me in the past. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to work, here.

[A thank you card should have reached Clover by now!]

Sometimes. Anything that has memories has good and bad.

Good and bad...

[Fuu had a point. Without the Nonary Game, she wouldn't have met Junpei, or Seven, or Lotus. And the Nonary Game also had its share of funny, heartwarming or just lighthearted moments. Clover had been so focused on what it had done to her life and everything horrible that she had forgotten the rest, especially when she just lost her temper and slammed her numbered bracelet into the wall.

So this is where Clover's voice trails off as she thinks of what Fuu has told her.]

I got this when I was kidnapped to another world, before.

You were kidnapped and taken to another world?

It's a bad habit.

Something like that. They don't generally have those in Tokyo, after all.

I don't think there's anything like that in the Tokyo I know either.

Getting kidnapped is something I'm fairly used to. Though I must admit, it's nicer when war isn't involved...

That's...well, at least you don't seem to be bothered by it. And yeah, war would just make things worse.

[Does fuu ever seem bothered by anything?]

It complicates things a little bit, I'll say that.

Only "a little bit"? War's a pretty big thing.

Well, yes, that's true. But with war, there's a definite end waiting. A goal... even if it is a terrible one. There's an end to things... something that we don't have here.

Hmm...yeah, you have a point. But some things...end here. The Shedinja attack was one thing that truly ended, and I hope it stays that way.

Success over those obstacles don't bring us home, though.

[She sighs, sad for a moment.]

But it's good to have a mostly peaceful existence here.
