When Wes was born, I made a distinct effort to make sure Madison didn't feel replaced. We started a number of different traditions. Over the years, we always seemed to find other things to do. We always found cool stuff to do. I've come to realize that making sure to focus on Madison, I've really not done half as much with Wes. And I think that's ( Read more... )

Oh man, I miss my bike. When I was about 25 I bought my current bike. Between then and right before I moved up here, I used to ride it every day. I lived in a city, so when I got home from work, I could just put the car away and ride everywhere. I loved it. I was also grocery shopping for one, so I could do that on my bike too. I just don't have that opportunity these days.

Rock that mother fucking bike man.

I suspect Wes and I will do at least a couple caches on the bike trail this summer.

Thanks Argent. I don't have the patience I wish I did and I lose my temper more often than I'd like, but I certainly work at it.

I saw you tweeting about geocaching and I looked it up. I wanna do it but I have no time, but maybe in a few years when Marcus understands more! There are a lot of geocaches in Kyoto!

There were so many things that I used to say, "I'll do that when the kids are older" to. A few people gave me shit and said that if I wanted to do it, I'd find time. Ya know what, once the kids were older, I started doing those things. You'll get to it and I promise it'll all still be there.

I love Geocaching. It's just hard to do with a baby and toddler so I haven't got that many under my belt.

Yeah, I totally get that. Right now, since I work 1.75 hours from home, I constantly find myself wanting to look for them by work. I know that this is something for me and the kids though, so I have to stop myself. There will always be time in the future.

Sunny actually wants to make some for the kids to find, which is really cool too. I think at some point, Wes and I will make some. Maybe I'll hide their christmas presents and make them search for them with GPS coordinates. . . That would have made easter egg hunting a lot more interesting.
