Over the last couple of years, I've become addicted to Wikipedia. Not just consulting it for answers about everything under the sun, but writing and editing articles as well. Yes, I am a Wikipedia editor. (And you can be one too

Thanks for all you've contributed to Wikipedia! (Esp starting up Roger Hane's entry!) I rely on the site for much of my research and think it basically kicks the ass of most traditional encyclopedias.
Glad to hear it!

Josh, I'm so glad to learn about your views and experience with Wikipedia; it helps me assuage my guilt. Wikipedia is frowned upon in my industry, but most of us secretly use it like crazy. Perhaps it's time to stand tall.
I'm glad it's you and not me now! Heh heh. Seriously, I think Wikipedia is pretty great, even including all the infuriating process stuff that bitter ex-editors usually complain about. I would imagine your contributions are good ones -- actually, I'm pretty sure I know which one of those guys is you, so yeah, your contributions are good. (This was me.) Best of luck with keeping the habit under control; I pretty much stopped because without any boundaries on scope or subject matter, it could easily take over all of my time. (That, plus it was a little disturbing to get in the occasional super-intense arguments with crazy people. But those probably helped me deal with my temper better in the long run.)
Dammit, now I got sucked back in "just to check up on my old articles for a minute", aieee. Wow, there's still some of my text in there! Actually a couple of them are still almost all mine after like 4 years (Wertham, Rev. Billy, Crowhurst) - I guess it helps if it's something not everyone is looking at.
So cool to find another wiki-holic and have it be a real person that I actually know! I was looking through your comics articles and I definitely worked on some of those too (tho' not as extensively as you did): Gil Kane, Last Gasp, Joe Sacco, Seth (cartoonist), Rick Veitch for sure. I love it!
And of course I'm very impressed with the range of non-comics articles you created and worked on. That's real-world knowledge, whereas the huge bulk of crap I've worked on has been uber-geek trivia, when you get down to it.
