I always enjoy reading your work. The dialog in this one is great and the descriptions are so vivid (Nathan's "mostly hazel" eyes!).

Thank you SO MUCH - I love it! Perhaps I'm still traumatized by canon but I'm struck how much the emotional notes you hit in this fic are synonymous with what's happening on the show right now. Nathan's quote about Peter being everything that's good in the world fitted perfectly in this context but also Peter's numbness, his death wish, Nathan being not quite himself... all of this hit really close to home with me. And I don't think I breathed during the last part. That was haunting and terrifying and absolutely perfect.

The Petrellis being gay for each other is a given, man. I'm glad, though! I would hate to have discouraged any Petrelli vampire AU's. That would be sad.
