Well, according to what she said last year, she's the one who maintains the peace here-or did until she disappeared, at least.

As for why she'd want us to find her... maybe her disappearance wasn't entirely of her own will?

Well, compared to how things were when she was still around... I don't know if I'd call our lifestyle now 'quiet'.
