Austin 2: Convention centers

I liked the Austin convention center more than the Boston or Long Beach ones, primarily because it's closer to more non-chain food options. However, the air conditioning was terrible. It's incredibly wasteful to be shivering in a sweater in Texas in August. And it's ironic to be doing so at a conference full of control engineers. Many of you know ( Read more... )

Or they could have a green bikes program. I don't know why Boulder's ended...

The thing about the green bikes was that you couldn't count on them. You had to leave enough time to walk, and then, if you did find a green bike, it was a bonus.

Also, from what I saw, a lot of them ended up in the creek. :/

The DNC in Denver rented bikes. I would always bike down the Cherry Creek path and see the bike rentals.

I want to buy a folding bike that I can put in my checked luggage.
