Challenge 1: Pilot & Theme 1: Pain
It's time for the first challenge! The main challenge will usually consist of the same format: caps will be provided and you are challenged to make icons from the caps given. Themed challenges are more open-ended, and will be posted along with the main challenge.
The deadline for the first challenge will be Friday, March 24th

>>Caps may be blended, but no animation allowed
>>Up to 4 icons may be submitted, and no two may be from the same cap
>>Icons must adhere to standard LJ standards (under 40kb, 100x100)

Interpret this one however you like; just be sure to include the theme of "pain" in the avatar.

>>Blending is allowed; animation is not
