The Remains of the Day is brilliant and totally heartbreaking. Munich is very good and very engaging, but I'm not sure I could sit through it again. Chocolat is whimsical and enchanting (and, um, Johnny Depp).
Saw you on PostSecret and came here to find movie lists. This year was the first time I'd carried through on the plan to see all the nominees. I even got to a good chunk of the foreign films, though I missed A Better World.
It's going to play at the new Drafthouse competition, Violet Crown, that opens at the end of the month. The prices seem high, but I'll probably check it out just to finish out the Oscar set.
Yeah, I did the "list how many movies I've seen" thing for two years, but then stopped. I don't really use this anymore.
If I lived in Austin, I would spend waaaaaay too money at the Drafthouse. It's bad enough getting their emails. I'm only down there once a year for a film festival, so I get a lot of time and Drafthouse food.

I'm assuming Fantastic Fest, for no particular reason.
I volunteer for South By but something always comes up for FF. Maybe I'll pay some cash money this year.
