I love this idea. Thanks for sharing. I'm in the processing of trying to revamp my desktop too. To get rid of my icon clutter, I added RocketDock and Launchy.

Haha. I thought I was the only one. I read somewhere it takes 21 days to form a habit so it only been 10 days so far.
