I joined your community. Your icons are brilliant but I noticed that there are some nostril crops. When is it OK for nostril crops? Also, after reading this tut again. I can't figure out why example # 3, 7 and 10 are bad crops. Please explain. Thanks in advance.

Do you mean 3,7,10 of the final batch? or the original batch? I'll be happy to explain futher.

Let me explain myself. I wasn't calling you out. I'm a newbie at Photoshop. I've only been at it for a little over three months. Your tutorial was so precise that I noticed that I've done quite a few of the errors you explained. I can look at some icons and I know that the cropping is really bad and others I can't see it (maybe because I'm not an artist). So, when I asked about some of your icons with the nostril crop, I don't see a problem with the finish outcome. For example,

Thanks, this is really helpful! I know I'm guilty of some bad crops but I could never put my finger on WHY they were bad crops. So these concrete reasons is great!
