[He peers at the communicator, looking agitated; not angry, not distraught, simply out of sorts.]

J. If you can hear me, please respond.

Well, he moves a little, moans very slightly, but that's it. He doesn't budge beyond that.]

*Even though he's off camera, Masky is not pleased that you're talking to J. Not. At. All. If you listen closely you can probably hear his snarl.*

[He shifts slightly, like he can feel Masky's gaze, but doesn't move beyond that....]

[One of the times the good doctor comes around, J stirs, groaning under his breath. He notices Simon, blinks once or twice, and shifts uneasily.

His voice is low and hoarse.]

..Where the hell am I?

[Simon stands a little away from the bed, not wanting to make him too uncomfortable.]

You're in my clinic. I'm Doctor Simon Tam.

[The doctor backs away somewhat and J seems to relax slightly. All things considered, a doctor isn't the scariest thing he's come across, and he kind of really needed it anyways.]

Oh. [Everything he says is punctuated by long in-between pauses.] ...Hi.

[He notices the flashing communicator, and it takes him a minute to reach over and get it. He stares at it for a moment, and then laboriously begins to reply, uninterested in talking.]

No idea. They saw me taping and freaked out.

[He can hear it, and he shifts slightly. His voice barely picks up on the microphone.]

[Voice] I knew he was asleep.

[Seimei's startled form his writing. There's a sound of papers being tossed about in a rush to get to the device. and the feed is cut.]

[He tries to get the communicator to do something, to bring back whatever that was, but he can't, for a myriad of reasons. Sighing, he lets the communicator sit back on the bed and closes his eyes.]
