Effie's transformation is really well written, and the idea that her ideals never quite went away, even if they were on the backburner.
The portrayal of getting caught up in a lie and being afraid of someone's reaction is very realistic.

Oh, I love that Effie story, it's just perfect. I love her developing and changing and seeing the Games from this warped yet obvious POV. It's brilliant.

And Hathaway! Oh Hathaway, you get yourself into terrible scrapes. I love the last line particularly, it's really well done, particularly given the episode. Really good.
