haha, I like stories that touch upon how the modern world would affect Hogwarts, the depiction of the outside world in the actual books can feel a bit dated sometimes, for instance, I get the impression JKR doesn't know much about video games

Thanks for reading! Yeah, the Muggle world of the books definitely seems dated now (not only because the timeline extends from before I was born to when I was just starting kindergarten, lol). Though, who knows, it might seem nostalgic to people who were actually Harry's age in the 90s.

Very entertaining - it's always weird to look back at books and realise that either the details have become dated, or that there was a deliberate attempt to avoid the mention of anything that might later become dated. This feels like it fits very nicely into the HP world.
