Oh, poor Isaac! His life just never gets easier :D I really like both Dead Island and Dying Light ones - sympathetic POV characters and the lack-of-human motif in the second one really works well.

There was a mission in Dead Island involving finding someone's teddu, and what I like about it and Dying Light are all the portrayals of the way the human psyche might fall apart or change with the zombie apocalypse

Oh bless... and yes, that kind of stuff (the different reactions of people to adversity) is really interesting to explore in fiction.

Binding of Isaac is a serious time sink if you're at all into rogue-like games, but it is all kinda of messed up
