151027 Report on Metatarsals

In short, I have to wear a cumbersome boot for six weeks and avoid walking for three. The doctor said that some of tiny bones were crushed and may never heal. Perhaps you can do some things while sitting; knitting, mending, reading, food prep,etc.Prayer and reflection with the Bible or an inspirational book? You could even try painting or coloring to pass the time (they make coloring books for adults now!!) Invite a friend to visit? I'll keep you in my prayers!

thanks for trying, but even leaning forward to type puts pressure on the foot bones, so I can't do it for very long. Most activities require that I lean forward. Reading works only so long before my eyes give out. I've written two teachings. Then, there are those trips to the little room. What was once three minutes now takes fifteen. I have chores that need to be done, and it frustrates me to sit. It takes a lot of time to teach someone else to do them.
