Walmart has changed in a major way since Walton died they even sell softcore porn now

Like any good idea developed by one person, others will coma along and ring changes, some of which aren't designed to do more than make money.

This is why I patronise other stores besides Wal-Mart; as the lack of selection is one thing that annoys me about the place. Once, you could find almost everything you needed; now - as you said - you can't even order it.

This is why the Waltons are doing nothing more than shooting themselves in the foot in the long run, but there will always be another merchandiser that will offer what the competition doesn't.

K-Mart is a casualty in this on-going evolution, as is Sears (Roebuck and Company). The balance will correct itself, like water seeking its own level.

All we have to do is wait.
