All Hitman-2 Victors, Be Advised
Friends, I know you've seen the amazing things that fandom can do when they're organized for a common goal. I've seen fandom band together to raise money for everything from natural disasters to personal tragedies, and I've never failed to be touched and overwhelmed by the generosity I've seen my peers display.
Consider this then a call to arms for one of our own.
Our beloved shoshannagold was let go from her job last week with very little warning. She went from gainfully employed to not in thirty-six hours. Unfortunately, this is not the first in a series of unfortunate circumstances that have befallen Shosh this Autumn -- but this will be the the one that breaks the camel's back.
On Monday, she was given notice from her landlord that she would be evicted from her apartment on December 20th unless she could pay her rent in full at that time. She owes $800 CAD to cover the rent for November and December. If she's unable to pay it, she will be removed from her apartment in 13 days.
Unfortunately, Edmonton, AB, where shoshannagold resides, there are very little jobs available; they are feeling the recession in full force. shoshannagold has applied at numerous places, both for entry level and skilled work, in the hopes that even one of them would be hiring.
They are not hiring.
shoshannagold is an amazing writer and an amazing woman, and I feel confident saying that she's touched a lot of people over the past few years. I hope that at least some of you are willing to touch her right back (but not that way, you pervs!)
To that end, this is my proposal:
Myself (mydocuments), kahtyasofia, oxoniensis, alethialia, lunasky, pjvilar, little_missmimi, and nightanddaze are all willing to write ficlets as incentive for people to donate. The amazing ladytiferet is willing to make graphics as well! Our very own bijoux is also willing to bake some of her amazing dessert goodies and donate them as well!! We have elected not to do an auction system because of the time crunch that we're under. If you want to know who is writing what, check out the author posts linked at the end of this post !
Drop a comment into our donation post telling us how much you've donated and leave us a prompt, and we'll reply with our hearty thanks and a fanwork or fanworks that fits the prompt!

Don't have a lot of cash to donate? That's totally okay too! As little as $5, when added up, could end up making a heck of a difference for Shosh.
We will be keeping track of all donations so that we can keep a running tally and know how close we are to our goal. When we've reached it, there will be much celebrating, applause, merry making, and general revelry to be had.
