Can't blame Spike for being confused. This is out of character for Buffy, but currently she is confused as well. Wouldn't be surprised if he thinks it's because she feels everyone around her is having problems accepting her and her actions. Spike is the only one who hasn't made her feel bad somehow.

Oh man Just mixy with her signals that Buffy. Cripes that's going to cause some angst. Especially because Angel will smell the sex and will get all growly and well that will cause Spike to get all growly too and then that leads to badness.

Well, Buffy was torn out of heaven, had her own private hell, lost control and went violent. Now, estrangement from her friends and Angel and sex with Spike!
Poor Buffy, what next? Let's hope some healing.
