15 - Video [Backdated to the morning of the 4th]

[Mornin' Keep. How are you all feeling today? Probably better than this guy.]

[Video shows him in his room, actually in bed for a change, and propped up on his folded coat. He looks... about as pale as paper, but there's an almost unnatural brightness to his eyes. Almost like a fever. That's hat happens when you chug lyrium potions after Read more... )

stupid decisions from the bas, lyrium addict -- nope just a bas, seriously confused like a bas, still alive like a bas, healer here he's the bas, slow on the uptake like a bas, saved by the potions like a bas, leaking fluid like a bas, ow my everything like a bas

Might as well. I'm starting to look like a tomato.

Be there in a moment.

[Soon enough there's a knock at Anders' door. Right now, much of Hawke's face is looking red and puffy from the scarecrow's venom. Those beestings aren't helping things much either. His chest is much the same, but it's covered by his shirt.]

It's open, Hawke.

[Anders is exactly where he was in the video feed, propped up in bed with his coat and shirt. There's bandages around the spear wound, though, so that's good.]

[Hawke steps inside, and guess what Anders? Carver is with him! The excitable romps around the mage's room eager to explore this new place. Sure it looks exactly like Hawke's room but this place has all the new things!]

Well you look...like you've just been stabbed.

Oh Maker... did you have to bring the dog?

[Yes, that is his first reaction. Not Hawke's condition, but the fact that there is now a dog in his room. Where his manifesto is scattered.]

And you look like you've seen better days yourself.

I bring you everywhere don't I?

[Hawke whistles and Carver abandons his search of everything ever. He might not be a mabari but he catches on quick.]

A scarecrow vomited poison on me so, yes.

I'm not a dog. I don't... lick myself and roll around in filth.

[Nevertheless, he beckons Hawke over, sitting up a little straighter.]

When did it... it did what?

Maybe not the first part but I'm not so sure about the second.

[Just be glad he doesn't know about the crystallized piss yet.]

After it stabbed you it threw up on me. Twice. Then spat bees at my face. It wasn't fun.

... charming.

[Yeah he won't mention that.]

I don't remember any of that. I'll see what I can do for the stings... and the rash. Can't be any worse than Isabela's.

I always am.

No I don't think you would. Probably because you were unconscious and bleeding out.

[See it's funny now cause he's not dead.

Hawke moves closer to the bed so Anders won't have to get up and do something stupid like strain. Carver, no longer believing he has to stay put anymore since Hawke is moving, takes this as an opportunity to crawl under Anders' bed.]

There is that...

[He doesn't comment on that, just pushes himself up a little more, already holding a hand out to try and start the healing process.]

[Carver's adventuring goes unnoticed, for the moment.]

[The burning already begins to fade, as does the swelling. More importantly, the itching leaves too. Hawke couldn't have handled the other two if he didn't spend half the night scratching himself.]

At least now I don't have to explain to Vie how I turned red and puffy now.

[Hawke can only see that as being awkward.]

[He would love to take care of the problem completely. But after everything that's happened, he doesn't have it in him. At least now Hawke just looks mildly sunburned, instead of like a cooked lobster.]

[Once he's done all he can, the glow fades and he flops back down against the clothing and pillows holding him up.]

I'd do more... But I'd like to stay awake for the next few days. I'm sorry, Hawke.

[Hold up. Where's Carver gone? And, more importantly...]

Why would you have to explain it to her?

[Right now he's just happy the itching is gone.]

First you want to go to sleep and now you want to stay awake. You just can't make up your mind can you?

[Well, at the moment he's sniffing everything that Anders keeps under his bed. There are all kinds of smells down there.]

Why do you think?

[He hasn't exactly kept their relationship hidden from anyone.]
