Characters: Ceireia Shadiene morbid_bloom, and OPEN When: 3/18 - 3/31 Where: Ceireia's mind. Rating: PG-13, may go up. Summary: Ever wonder what goes on in her mind? Here's your chance.
Sniper didn't question suddenly being in the forest with no clear recollection of how he'd gotten there- he was a hunter, and the wilds were where he belonged. He didn't think too hard on the vague emotions he felt, ones he pushed down easily, his focus entirely on tracking his prey. If asked, he couldn't have told anyone what it was he was following, exactly- simply that he knew they were there through some instinct, and that not knowing was all a part of the challenge.
What he did question was what he found upon reaching the clearing: a giant tree and ornate doors. Alright. That was unusual, to say the very least.
Keeping his rifle at the ready, he approached the doors cautiously, eyeing the pictures placed upon them in the glass. A house, a flower, a heart- he was drawn to the one with the fire, thinking of someone else. Still wary of the entire scenario, he knelt beside the door first, trying to peer through some of the cracks in the glass before actually trying the knob.
Upon opening the door, Sniper would find himself standing in front of a burning house. The night sky was filled with smoke, yet the air around the blazing house seemed clear. Kneeling in front of the house sobbing uncontrollably, was Ceireia. An aura of sadness emanated from her in waves. If Sniper were to walk around the house he may find items lying on the ground, including a katana, tire, syringe, a handful of flower petals, and a trio of crystal orbs.
I totally lost this notif somewhere along the way. Whoops!hasstandardsMarch 26 2012, 08:28:24 UTC
Well, it seemed what the door had promised was exactly what he found: fire, and lots of it. The fire lit up the dark, pushing back the shadows in every direction

Ceireia didn't even so much as turn her head to regard the RED, continuing her mourning in front of the burning house. A short pulse of anger radiated from the crying girl for a moment. Anger at herself for not being strong enough.
As Sniper approached the katana, he would see flashes of a brutal, bloody fight between Ceireia and her twin brother, Zephyr. She was being controlled by something and attacked Zephyr relentlessly, but he refused to strike back against her. At least until something took control of him. Here, a feeling of pure darkness emanated. A flash of a nightmarish looking reptilian creature, its back covered in quills that tapered down a long finned tail, but its eyes were solid white, as if soulless.
The memory flashed again to after the battle. Zephyr held Ceireia in his arms and although both were heavily injured, there was an odd feeling of secureness. Zephyr spoke calmly to her, telling her that she was safe now. Then the images faded back into the fire.
Lynx didn’t really care on how he ended up in a forest, any questions had about it was over shadowed by was he felt from this place. It causes his inter beast toss and turn. One thing he did notice, he didn’t have a drone following him. He passed it off as nothing and kept moving. He was looking around his surroundings, he was little taking by beauty of the forest.
When he gets to the tree with the doors in front of it and was drawn to the shadow door for some reason or another. As he steps closer to it his inter beast toss and turn even more, was it reacting to the door? He reaches out for the doorknob with a shaky hand. After a moment or so he turns it and opens the door follow by him walking in.
Upon entering the door, Lynx would find himself in what appeared to be the basement of a very large building. The room was dimly lit by candles, and many twisted, corrupted looking plants were all over. Centered in the room are two large tables with arm and leg restraints on them. Dried blood was caked on one of them.
A cloaked figure in the back of the room emanated powerful waves of emotion. Rage, despair, envy, amusement, and determination. Several dark looking paintings line the walls of the basement. Many of them show the residents of Paradise that Ceireia knows well. Daxter, Hana, Cassidy, and several others. One of the paintings features the Dark Forest, another shows her brother, and another shows a cloaked figure surrounded by corpses.
Lynx looks around the room for a moment taking it all in and then notice the figure in back of the room. “Hey you in the back, what is your deal?” he asked, and felt the waves of emotion off the other. This only cause a less then favorable reaction out of him. He was a bit hostel, and his inter beast was begun to awake from it’s deep sleep.
Lynx didn’t care for the paintings that line the room some more so then others. A low hissing sound can be heard coming from Lynx. He did not know what he walks into, so far he didn’t like it.
The cloaked figure didn't so much as look back at the intruder. She reached out to touch the petals of a large flower next to her. The petals slowly began to turn black and wilt, shriveling up as they fell to the ground. "Afraid of the dark?" Ceireia muttered, sounding somewhat amused.
"You're in the wrong place if you are." The shadows near her seemed to engulf one of the nearby candles, extinguishing it.
The door was interesting, but Cassidy somehow knew it was Ceireia's presence she felt and wanted to find her. Leaving the door alone for now, she trotted into the forest quietly.
Although Ceireia's presence could be felt, it didn't emanate from any one direction. It was as if the forest itself was her. The forest was calm and quiet, and if Cassidy kept going, would eventually run into a clearing identical to the one before...or was it the same one?
