Of course Manic's morning was not going to be the usual morning. For as he was restocking the music selection while listening to the CD, there was a very loud 'THUD' behind him. Laying there on the ground was suddenly a black and red hedgehog, his eyes closed, and his chest just barely moving. He seemed to be alive but unconscious.

[drummerhedgehog]

No way this was coincidence. So far Manic had met every other Mobian that came to Paradise, though none were from the Mobius he knew. "You know a version of my bro then?" he asked.

[doomsblood]

"Your bro? Are you referring to Sonic? Yes, I suppose I do though I do not remember how. We fought during our hunt for the doctor and I won. And then we fought together to defeat Metal Sonic."

[drummerhedgehog]

"Yeah, but if you're from the Mobius with Eggman then you know a Sonic other than my bro."

It sounded like Shadow wasn't really on anyone's side, he simply went with what suited his current goals.

[doomsblood]

Shadow nodded. "I suppose. When you say bro though, what is it you mean?" Shadow was obviously not educated in slang.

[drummerhedgehog]

"...I mean my brother." But that was the easiest slang ever, especially in Manic's opinion.

[doomsblood]

"I thought that was what you meant." Shadow nodded. Made sense but he needed to make sure. Rouge didn't speak in this manner and Omega would never use slang as a robot.

[drummerhedgehog]

Amusingly, Manic knew a robot who had used slang...though he learned it from him and his siblings. "Yeah, but like I said, the one you know's not my bro. Doc. Botnik rules the Mobius I come from."

[doomsblood]

"Then the doctor accomplished his goals in your world. Strange. Do you fight him then?"

[drummerhedgehog]

"Either that or it's a different guy. He's been running the show about as long as I've been alive."

Manic nodded though. "Yeah, I'm part of the resistance."

[doomsblood]

"Different versions of the same person, perhaps. Is the doctor here, any version of him?"

[drummerhedgehog]

"Could be, though I have to say I'd rather deal with this Eggman one. But no, neither is here."

[doomsblood]

"Then that is something at least. The doctor is not a threat I would wish to deal with here on top of everything else."

[drummerhedgehog]

"Yeah, this place is pretty chill usually, but when stuff happens it happens big."

[doomsblood]

"Such as?"

[drummerhedgehog]

"Earthquakes, zombies, switched bodies..." Manic made a vague gesture before pulling himself onto the counter to sit.
