Today was certain going to be strange for Shade. One minute the spaceship she was on crashed into the ground thanks to that backstabbing Doctor and the next, she was in a random hospital. It made sense, upon retrospect, that she would wind up here...she DID pass out, after all. But the Doctor was in charge...she shouldn't even be alive...or free at the very least.

Looking around the room, it was quite. Besides the machines and normal hospital supplies, the room was empty. Deciding it would be a good idea to look around the hospital. So she proceeded to move from her bed and explore her surroundings.

The hospital outside the room would show signs of various struggles, with blood in various place and overturned chairs and carts, but no people apparently. Though one door would be ajar, where Manic had let himself in and was currently grabbing anything he knew the use for: bandages, antiseptic, painkillers...things like that.

Shade had begun to think that looking around may not be such a good idea. Then again, neither was being a sitting duck. She could handle herself fine, so there was nothing to worry about...besides the soreness from that crash.

After a few more minutes of exploring, she found said door opened slightly. On her guard, she carefully opened the door and spotted a green hedgehog...he kind of looked like Sonic. "Who are you?!"

Looking over his shoulder with obvious surprise, Manic paused. Echidnas weren't something one saw often. She was kind of cute too, but that really wasn't the important thng here.

"I didn't think anyone living was still around the hospital. I'm Manic." He would have normally been a bit more cautious, but these were special circumstances. "Who're you?"
