The sun was either rising, or setting. And from what he could see of the window, it was the latter.
He was late for duty.
He was late for duty.
With that in mind, Florian bolted into an upright position in his bed, scrambling out of that bed and ...
promptly falling face-first onto the floor.
He spent a good several minutes there, twitching a little, his head reeling from the sudden impact.

Was that someone falling? If it was, it must have been impressive since she heard it down the hall. Making her way down the hall, she peeked into the room before gasping in excitement.
"Florian!"
His health be damned apparently...or she figures he could walk it off or something.

Regardless of the latter being a possibility, Florian had to answer. He tried to crane his head up just enough so that his fuzzy vision could potentially get a view of whoever was (or wasn't) at the door.
"Anise ..? Anise, is that you?"
Reply
...There were tears in here eyes...
Not of sadness or pain but sheer joy, this was very rare in itself. She missed her companion so much, even if she was surrounded by her other friends. Immediately she was at his side, kneeling down to roll him over and give him a huge hug.
"Oh Florian...You have no idea how much I missed you." She muttered into his shirt as she buried her face against it.

He slowly wrapped his arms around her in return, pulling her closer and exhaling a breath he didn't even realize he was holding.
"It's okay, Anise. I'm here now, right?"
Suddenly, being late for duty didn't matter so much.

Aaaand, she's back to hugging him again, having a death grip on the boy.

When she hugged him again, he hugged her back.
"I'm happy too!" He said, a dopey grin making it's way across his face.
"I'm always happy to see you, Anise."
Reply
"Has anyone informed you of where you are?" She asked, moving to look up at him.
Reply
Wait.
This wasn't his room. This didn't even look like anything close. And with the way Anise was clinging to him, crying and talking as if she hadn't seen him lately ...
He wasn't sure if things got clearer or more confusing.
"... this isn't Daath, is it?" Florian asked, his voice becoming quieter as he asked it.
Reply
"But I'm here for you...I'll make sure you'll be taken care of. I promise"
