As Toboe opened his eyes, he was greeted by an unexpected sight. This wasn't where he had been a moment ago! Where was the rest of his pack? Darcia? They were being attacked and Quent-

He paused. Thinking about that old man felt strange, like he should be remembering something else about him. About the whole event. Maybe he was just imagining things.

Toboe, in human form, sat up on the table, moving his legs over the edge as he surveyed the room. "H-hello? Is anybody here?"

Found it. The dog reared up, using his paws to push the door handle down and let himself in. "Found you," he barked, padded into the room and sniffing. "You're the one that just arrived right?" Never hurt to make sure, since he smelled wolf but saw boy.

Toboe jumped a little in surprise when the dog walked in and spoke to him. He turned to face the fellow canine. "Y-yeah, I guess. Where exactly am I, though?" he asked, nervously playing with the silver bracelets on his wrist.

"The ones who made this place call it Paradise. It's just a big city that people can't leave though," the dog answered, sitting and then laying on the floor. "It's not forever, but you might be here for a little while. The one who put you here will be the one to send you home."

He cocked his head a little. "Are you a person who can understand animals? I don't speak the language that the people here use."
